Immortal Application

If you are interested in becoming an Immortal for Haven, please fill out the following application and email it to admin@havenmud.net for review.

Notice

The Admins value people that show initiative and contribute to Haven in any way they can, without necessarily receiving praise or recognition for it. (Being an IMM is a thankless job most days, so it's good practice.) There are plenty of ways that you can contribute, as a player, that does not involve having an IMM level character. In most cases, the Admins looking to bring people on as new Imms want to see that the person has been already contributing in a positive way.

This can be in a number of ways:

  1. Assisting New Players
  2. Contributing To The Wiki
  3. Testing New Features For Developers
  4. Reporting Bugs and Typos in the MUD
  5. Submitting Ideas and Feature Requests
  6. Being an Active Player
  7. Sharing WoD Lore/Info

While none of these is a requirement (with the exception of being an active player), they certainly make a good impression. It's also helpful to already have an idea of what kind of responsibilities you'd be covering.

General

  1. Who are your alts?
  2. How long have you played Haven?
  3. Why do you want to be an Immortal on Haven?
  4. What experience do you have with the World of Darkness setting?
  5. What about the dark Medieval period?
  6. Have you ever been accused of cheating on Haven, by any set of Admins?
  7. Why do you play Haven? What about the game keeps bringing you back to play it?
  8. What would you like to bring to the game as an Immortal?
  9. How much time could you dedicate, per week, to your Immortal duties?

For Builders Only:

With the above application, please also attach the following descriptions.

  • Five Room Descriptions:
    • Must include the Name of the room, and a 4-8 line description of the room.
    • Room descs do NOT need to be related, but they should showcase your writing abilities.
  • Three Object Descriptions:
    • Must include the Name of the object. The "room" description, that would show when the object is on the floor. And an "extended" or detailed description of the item of at least 3 lines.
  • Two Mobile Descriptions:
    • Must include the Name of the mobile. The "room" description, that would show when the mob is standing in a room. And the Full description of the mob, when 'look'ing at them, at least three lines long.
